Do Horse Racing Systems really work?

|

The interest in horse racing and horse racing systems has never been greater. This in part is due to the fact that the media coverage of horse racing is better than it used to be. In the United Kingdom for instance it is possible thanks to cable TV to watch practically every horse race run either ion the UK or Ireland . During the evening and early morning it is possible to watch live racing from the USA , South Africa and Australia . And thanks to another development the Internet it is also possible to place bets on both domestic and overseas horse races.

This growth of interest has lead to thousands of horse racing systems being developed. Nearly all sellers of systems promise that large and regular profits can be made by using their particular system. But finding a good and reliable horse racing system is a little like searching for the Holy Grail and probably worth nearly as much if you find can find it. There is no doubt that there are horse racing systems that will if followed give a regular profit but there are many more that are a complete waste of time and money.

So how can you tell the difference?

Look at the claims the seller makes for their system. There is an old saying, "If it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is!"  Often you will see claims in sales letters such as, "Make £10,000 a month with System X". That sounds fine but what they don't tell you is that that figure is based on a ridiculously high stake. A stake that is higher than most of us would ever dream of putting on any horse. No system can win all the time but what you should be looking for is consistent results showing an overall profit over time.

There must be 4 or 5 new horse race systems coming onto the market each week and most of them will disappear without trace a few weeks later. So look for a system that has been around for a while and had a chance to be tested. For several years now I have been a member of The Betting School which is a membership site that produces a monthly Insiders Report which among other things reviews many of the horse racing systems and tests them over a period of time.

Another feature of the Betting School site is that members use the forum to discuss various horse racing systems and share their experiences with the other members.

I have found that membership to The Betting School has saved me wasting money on poor systems and also pointed me in the direction of others which have proved to show regular profits. In fact one of those systems which I use regularly, called Racing Profits is available for free to Betting School members.

One final piece of advice regarding Horse Racing Systems, no matter how well it is recommended ALWAYS paper test it for a month or so before placing your money on the selections. Not only does that give you a chance to ensure that you fully understand how the system works but also will prove to you that it works. If after that time you are not satisfied most reputable sellers offer a money back guarantee.

So in answer to the question "Do horse racing systems really work?" the answer is that there are systems that will show you a regular profit but they are not easy to find.

However, it can be worth the effort to track them down.
